The soldiers who escaped Fortress Barge return to Earth. With them comes Lady Une, thought to be dead, she is in a coma, recovering from the bullet wound. Trieze grieves for her, then begins his reign, uniting the Earth for war against space. Relena heads into space, where she hopes to talk sense into her brother.
